Our hojicha and genmaicha are really hidden gems of the wagashi scene, often overshadowed by their more famous matcha cousin. Both teas contain roasted notes which really bring out the flavours! One of our missions here at Matcha Sundays is to promote greater awareness and appreciation of hojicha and genmaicha, so this week’s box is the “Roasted” Box. Enjoy!
